Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to goods supplied by WindSafe Solutions Pty Ltd.

1. Shipping and Delivery

WindSafe Solutions supplies goods through a combination of stocked items, supplier dispatch, third-party freight, and dropshipment from suppliers, manufacturers, importers, or warehouses.

Delivery dates and lead times are estimates only unless WindSafe Solutions expressly guarantees a delivery date in writing.

WindSafe Solutions will make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery timeframes, but delivery may be affected by supplier availability, manufacturer delays, freight delays, customs delays, import delays, stock shortages, public holidays, weather, carrier issues, site access restrictions, or other circumstances outside WindSafe Solutions’ reasonable control.

2. Dropshipped Goods

Some goods may be sent directly from suppliers, manufacturers, importers, warehouses, or third-party carriers.

Where goods are dropshipped, WindSafe Solutions will coordinate the order using information available from the supplier or carrier.

Dropshipped goods may be subject to supplier dispatch timeframes, carrier availability, supplier stock levels, and third-party delivery processes.

3. Freight Charges

Freight charges may be estimated unless expressly stated as fixed.

Additional freight charges may apply for:

  • urgent delivery;
  • remote delivery;
  • heavy or bulky goods;
  • redelivery;
  • tailgate delivery;
  • site delivery requirements;
  • failed delivery attempts;
  • incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer;
  • split shipments;
  • supplier dropshipment;
  • carrier-imposed surcharges.

4. Customer Delivery Information

Customers must provide accurate delivery information, including:

  • delivery address;
  • site name;
  • site contact;
  • phone number;
  • delivery hours;
  • purchase order requirements;
  • unloading requirements;
  • site access requirements;
  • delivery restrictions;
  • any remote, mine site, wind farm, depot, or project-specific instructions.

WindSafe Solutions is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

5. Split Deliveries

WindSafe Solutions may supply goods by split delivery where some items are available earlier than others.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer remains liable for the full order value and any applicable freight charges.

6. Risk in Goods

Risk in goods passes to the customer on dispatch, delivery, collection, or transfer to the carrier, whichever occurs first.

7. Delivery Issues

Customers must inspect goods promptly on delivery or collection.

Any alleged shortage, incorrect supply, visible freight damage, or delivery issue must be reported to WindSafe Solutions in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

The customer should provide details of the issue and, where relevant, photographs, delivery records, packing slips, carton condition, or other evidence reasonably required by WindSafe Solutions.

8. Delays Outside WindSafe Solutions’ Control

WindSafe Solutions is not liable for delay or failure to deliver where the delay or failure is caused by events outside WindSafe Solutions’ reasonable control.

This may include supplier delays, manufacturer delays, freight delays, customs delays, import delays, stock shortages, severe weather, industrial action, transport disruption, government action, or other events beyond WindSafe Solutions’ reasonable control.
